I received a free copy of this book and voluntarily choose to review it. I really enjoy reading from 2 points of view, on one hand you have Damien Blaze the rock star who can't keep his hands to himself and is as bad boy as they come. On the other hand you have Nancy Harper who is a tabloid reporter who always wants to get to the bottom of what makes a star tick. She goes under cover to get the goods but never expects to end up feeling like she does and can't figure out how to come clean. The characters are well written and have a great antagonistic relationship.
This started out as a lie but the more Damien and Nancy got to know each other it turned into something more. Nancy is a reporter who wanted her next great article and Damien needed to "clean" up his act. Along the way things got real, the story got out and everything went down hill. Well who would've thought that there would be a story behind why the reporter is the way she is. Great story, I don't read to many books in this genre but I'm glad I did this one. I received an advanced copy for a voluntary review. Morgan did a great job writing this I recommend it.
When I first started reading this book I didn't know what to think. I really didn't like Nancy much because of her chosen profession, and I absolutely despised her POS boss. I imagine that if I hadn't liked Damien I would have given up reading this book but thankfully I loved him. He was everything a rock star bad boy isn't. The book has drama, angst, betrayal, steamy sex, and sweet romance. Damien and Nancy were great together once they both came out of their shells. It's definitely unlike any fake fiancée rock star romance I've read in the past and I think it's well worth the read. Read with KU.
Emotional Highs and Lows in this crazy story of two people that should by all rights hate each other on shear principle each for there own deeply heartfelt reasons is thoughtful as well as engaging.
On the surface of things they seam like complete opposites that should not be attracted for many reasons both personal and professional. However as you get to know this amazing couple you realize that they are really just two very similar people that are destined to heal and complete the other. That once in a lifetime chance you just stumble into so unexpectedly it takes you awhile to realize what just happened. Love it!
Really loved it which was a surprise to me. Rock star romance is not one of my favorites, but I fell in love with Damien. Both Damien and Nancy are somewhat complex in that they both have cut themselves off from anything personal in their lives. They go into this partnership for conflicting reasons, but soon develop strong feelings on which they could develop a relationship. Unfortunately, Nancy's real life and her annoying boss interfere which leads to some heartache and angst, but you'll have to read it to find out if they reach a HEA. It's well worth it! I highly recommend this read.

Great story about a fake situation that turns real. Unfortunately secrets come to light that tear the relationship apart just when they realize that they love each other. Damian is a rock start who takes partying to a whole new level. He is about to go solo in his career so he needs to clean up his image. His agent books him on a reality show for couples so he needs a fake fiancee to fool the public. Nancy is a celebrity tabloid reporter who gets a tip about this and sends in a tape to audition for this role. She goes in undercover to investigate and write a tell all article on the famous rock star. Can love overcome betrayal? I have voluntarily reviewed and ARC of this book.
Nancy is very jaded about celebrities, she hears a rumour that could help her get promoted, so she tells her boss Jack about this fantastic opportunity which will give them access to the famous rock star Damien. Before she knows it her boss turns it round, and she is roped into being Damien's fake fiancée in a reality show. Now she has to get a story out of it for that promotion, fight her real attraction to Damien and make sure her walls she has spent so many years building aren't knocked over. Can these two complicated people who keep everyone at a distance, allow each other in, and have a chance at a real relationship? Or will it all fall apart when the real world creeps into the reality show? Or will the trust they were building in each other be shattered forever? I loved finding out why Nancy and Damien have their walls, and their hot attraction burning up the pages.
